WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Division stated on Thursday it had appealed a Pennsylvania choose’s Oct. 30 order that blocked the federal government from imposing restrictions on Chinese language-owned TikTok that have been set to take impact right this moment.
The Commerce Division’s August order was to take impact late Thursday barring transactions with ByteDance’s brief video sharing app TikTok that its proprietor had warned would have successfully barred its use in america.
The Commerce Division stated Nov. 1 it could adjust to Choose Wendy Beetlestone’s order.
