As per the report, the market has seen shipments totalling 47.6 million models as “the demand for reasonably priced entry to fundamental computing and bigger screens to facilitate distant work, studying, and leisure as a consequence of COVID-19 restrictions drove the market.”
The report claims that the market was led by Apple. The Cupertino-based tech big is claimed to have shipped 13.9 million models within the the third quarter of 2020 registering a year-over-year progress of 17.4%. “Whereas the iPad (2019) was in a position to keep the biggest share of shipments, the most recent iPad (2020) managed to file a notable quantity of shipments regardless of its late launch throughout the quarter,” stated Apple.
