Sony Vaio P is the lightest laptop design by Sony. Only’s Vaio P managed to generate some buzz at CES, largely based around its minuscule footprint, 1.4-pound weight and ultra-wide LCD screen. This ultraportable notebook with an 8-inch screen fits inside your jacket pocket or your purse and packs an amazing amount of technology inside a tiny package.

It is very suitable for lightly multitasking job. Not suitable for heavy job suvh HD entertaiment, Photoshop, AutoCAD and so on. Running on 1.33 GHz Z520 Atom Processor, 2 GB RAM, 64 GB SSD and Intel integrated graphics designed for MIDs.

Laptop for $10 Only?

The 1st super low cost laptop will be release the prototype on 3rd February 2009 and will be on the market in six month later.  Price is only Rs500 or $10. If true, it is the cheapest price on the laptop history.  This project from collaborative team between the Indian governments ministry of science and ministry of technology.

The project is mainly to produce the cheapest laptop for Indian children due the current economy situation. The specification is not announced yet. But base on unofficial info, the laptop comeout with 2GB RAM , Ethernet and wifi connection are enable.
