If you are fanatic for gamer you might know the MMO games. MMO as know as MMOG is a massively Multiplayer Online game. It is a video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously. It play by multiple player via Internet. It assume  an online multiplayer game on a massive scale. Most of the newer game consoles, including the PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii can access the Internet and may therefore run MMO games.

The biggest and most successful example of this is World of Warcraft (WoW). There are now 10 million active subscribers to World of Warcraft around the globe. That is half the population of Australia and greater than the ten largest militaries in the world combined.

It will involve graphical elements on your computer, with interactions between you and the other characters and artifacts in the simulation taking place in a server.  It takes a good computer and an Internet connection with a lot of bandwidth and low latency  to play such a game successfully.

MMOs are also generally a type of Role Playing Game. These are similar to the old board game Dungeons and Dragons in which you gain experience points by completing quests or by killing monsters. As you gain more experience points you gain higher levels, which give your character more power, and generally give them special points that allow them to further customize their character and let them set themselves apart from everyone else. You can also be rewarded with gold which can be used to purchase better gear or special potions or other benefits for your character.

You can spend your gold to unlock special powers like the multiplyer superpowers or exchange your gold for equipment like mugs and t-shirts. It’s a simple reward mechanism for participating in the site/game and investing your time, basically. Perform x and receive y. Spend y and receive x.
