Alert!! Conficker Worm infects 9 million PCs


Security vendors are issuing warnings about a virulent new worm, which took down Ministry of Health systems for 15 days. Conficker are also known as Downadup or Kido. Is a uniquely pestilent species of worm, infecting PCs via the internet or “manually” via USB thumb drives. Once it has infected a computer, Conficker “phones home” to a malicious server, which delivers a payload of malware (which could be any malware, such as a programme that sniffs out personal details).

Conficker randomly generates hundreds of domains each day – making it a moving target for virus hunters. Two weeks ago, the number of infected PCs was around 3 million. Now security software company F-Secure puts the number at 9 million and counting.

HTC Iolite will coming soon.


Nobody know about HTC Iolite currently. It will coming out to you soon. The Iolite looks a lot like a modernized version of the TouchFlo 3D, and sports Windows Mobile 6.1. With 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM.  Internet connection with HSDPA/HSUPA with quad-band EDGE, Wifi and GPS. At the back with 3.2 megapixel camera, and more. All powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU. In other words, a pretty well sepecification of HTC-sourced Windows Mobile handset. The image also clearly depicts a dedicated key marked HTC Footprints. The price is still waiting. But just like most other HTC phones, the Iolite will most likely not make it to the U.S. market any time soon.
